Consumers today are continually bombarded with health and nutrition information. “Eat protein with every meal. Too much protein causes liver failure. Don’t eat saturated fat. Isn’t coconut oil a saturated fat? Gluten is evil. Eggs cause hypertension. Butter is better than margarine. Dairy is bad for you. Eat more fish. Fish will give you mercury poisoning.” The mountains of information and conflicting viewpoints can be overwhelming, leaving many people more confused than enlightened.
Let me take away the confusion and guide you on your personal health journey using well-researched, nutritionally sound advice. As a former teacher, my focus is on education. Together we can scale those mountains of nutrition information and improve your health. If you would like a knowledgeable nutrition professional to guide you on your journey to improve your health and make lasting changes, I’d be happy to educate, support and help you along the way.

Food Sensitivity Testing $365
Studies show that the average person has six or seven food intolerances or sensitivities. Unlike a true allergy, a food sensitivity does not involve an immediate immune system response. Food sensitivities involve antibodies called IgGs which involve a delayed reaction. These antibody complexes can deposit in any tissue throughout the body, causing inflammation and chronic conditions. Many people with food sensitivities are often unaware that delayed food reactions may be contributing to their eczema, joint pain, asthma, digestive disorders, weight gain, irritable bowel, fatigue, headaches or migraines. The IgG food sensitivity test is able to test over 200 common foods from a variety of food groups including meat, fish, dairy, grains, vegetables and fruits. There is a vegetarian test panel available as well. The blood sample is sent to CanAlt Health Labs to be analyzed and offending foods are identified. The cost for the food sensitivity testing includes a 45 minute appointment to review the lab report. You will receive a complete food sensitivity report along with recommendations on making dietary changes based on the results.
