Food Sensitivity Testing
Studies show that the average person has six or seven food intolerances or sensitivities. Unlike a true allergy, a food sensitivity does not involve an immediate immune system response. Food sensitivities involve antibodies called IgGs which involve a delayed reaction. These antibody complexes can deposit in any tissue throughout the body, causing inflammation and chronic conditions. Many people with food sensitivities are often unaware that delayed food reactions may be contributing to their their eczema, joint pain, asthma, digestive disorders, weight gain, irritable bowel, fatigue, headaches or migraines.
The IgG food sensitivity test is able to test 96 common foods from a variety of food groups including meat, fish, dairy, grains, vegetables and fruits. There is a vegetarian test panel available as well. From a finger prick blood sample, offending foods can be identified.
When ordering your IgG food sensitivity test kit, please include your name, address and contact information so the test kit can be mailed directly to you. Complete the test and mail it to the lab in the pre-paid envelope. Allow approximately 3-4 weeks for the lab to complete the testing and for Peak Results Nutrition to contact you with the results.
